Gone Country

So yesterday was my birthday and while I was without my family and kind of sad about that my wonderful husband actually made my day awesome and then we went out to my new friend's farm for a cookout. We had a really good time. We even too Paris and Payton to go swimming and I know they had a good time because this morning, Payton was limping.
My friend's daughter is a month younger than Ty and still doesn't walk. She cruises around in these walker things and all Ty wanted to do was walk in them. He kept running into the little girl with his like it was a bumper car.
Paris chased the poor chickens everywhere. Here she was trying to be cool and pretend she didn't care that the chicken was right next to her.

 A boy and his dog.

Ty was much less afraid of the farm animals, my scardey cat dogs followed him around so he could save them if need be.

Look at old lady Paris running after Payton I'm surprised she could walk today she was running everywhere!

My New Favorite Picture

Hook 'em Horns

Memories...

I've been missing Ty as a baby lately. I mean don't get me wrong I love the age he is right now, he's so much fun (except for when he's throwing a fit because I won't let him get in the car attached to a shopping cart at Kroger this morning) I just miss that sweet little baby who just sat still and looked cute. I really started missing having a baby this morning while shopping the Macy's Columbus Day sale. They had the cutest little Thanksgiving outfits that I wanted to get but they only went up to 9 months, then it mad me think of Ty at 9 months and then last year at Thanksgiving and it made me sad because time is going way too fast. September was literally the fastest month of my life and that irritates me. This week I roasted sweet potatoes and made cinnamon apples for Ty just to smell what his food used to smell like that I would make him. Anyway I just thought I would share how I've been feeling lately, now I must get back to the Macy's sale I have a 16 month old to shop for.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

When we first got to the pumpkin patch all Ty could see and say was "tractor" he was so excited. As soon as we actually got on a tractor (or the hayride pulled by a tractor) he got really quiet and sat really still, almost like he was scared. Today we went on a field trip with our playgroup to a pumpkin patch about an hour away. We had a really good time. I am a sucker for a good hayride.

It was cute all along the way they had "scary" things hanging from the trees. Ty wasn't scared because he doesn't know yet that he's supposed to be scared of monsters I think.
He was so entertained and so well behaved for the entire time.

The hayride took us to this little pumpkin patch where the kids got to pick out their own little pumpkin. I need to mention that in addition to being totally obsessed with tractors, Ty also has a thing for pumpkins. The other day when we walked into Target they had a big display of plastic pumpkins set up, Ty ran in and literally squealed with excitment then went over to them while I was getting a cart and said "pumpkins, mama, pumpkins" the Target employees were gathering around him laughing. So needless to say he was super excited when we pulled up on these pumpkins and he got to get out and pick one up.
This is just the beginning of all our fall/halloween fun. I love fall and I love that we're not in Texas where its still 100 degrees.

Elmo Documentary

I fought liking or having anything to do with Elmo. I even added to my baby registry (albeit tacky) *please no Elmo themed products. So wouldn't you know my son absolutely loves him. I've come to embrace him and even quite like him because he makes Ty so happy. I saw this documentary and I really want to see it! I even got kind of emotional watching the trailer for it when he talks about how he knew Elmo should be a character that represents love and them I thought about how much Ty loves him and how much I love Ty. Meh.
Anyhoo here's the trailer

Phone Pictures

I can't remember if I've posted these or not and apparently its too much work for me to look back at past blog posts to check so I posted them just in case. Nothing special about this day he is just so cute in his little jersey I'm sad that it will be too small soon since he wore it last season too.

A plunger that Patrick had went out and bought before it was used. Ty loves plungers for some reason and I think I may have to get one for him for Christmas.

After a super rainy week. Instead of trying to keep him out of the water I just gave in to both him and Payton. Look how happy both of them are.

Here he is after the puddle jumping. I cringe just looking at this, I hate dirty babies!!
Stacking and counting mama's solo cups. I love them. God bless you Solos for not only holding my beverages but for also teaching my child how to stack things and how to count.

Ty in the hat that his dad picked out for him at the Gap sale. What a handsome little man.

More halloween decor and if you look closely you can see Ty at the top. His new favorite spot because he is obsessed with my decorations and trying to take them down.
Cobra Kai pajamas (Karate Kid reference) I got them at Wal Mart for $5 and I love them he looks so cute in them.

Gone Fishing

This is how Ty rolls in Target now. Popcorn in one hand, icee in the other. It actually keeps him in the cart for quite a while.

When we walked up on this horse, my idiot dogs were terrified of it. The barked and all the hair on their backs was standing up. It took my 15 month old to walk right up to it to show them that it was ok. Idiots. Its a painted fiberglass horse.

I am in love with pictures that have the son shining down in them. I think it makes Ty look angelic.

First really cold day here I got to  bust out the cute new sweater.

This is something new that he does now when I say "say cheese" he puts his finger on his nose. I don't know why but I tend to blame Mr. Noodle when he does retarded things like this.
