Fall Fashion

Fabulous Fall Blog Challenge
Day 2 Fall Fashions/Makeup/Trends

As I said yesterday, I love fall clothes. I think they're classy and they cover up more (read: hide my fat) way better then spring and summer clothes. Since I am in the process of getting back down to my skinny self I plan on wearing a lot of cardigans and scarves with jeans and flats and boots. I suppose I will be wearing this stuff too because everyday my schedule consists of going to playgroups and storytimes and playgrounds so I need to be comfortable while still remaining chic.
Currently since I am in Aiken, SC population probably 20,000 I am expected to be the most stylish mom in playgroups with the most stylish kid. Styling Ty easy myself not so much mainly because I spend all my money on Ty. However I am trying something this season that I have never done before and that is buy cheap clothes. I have found and printed out several outfits on polyvore all consisting of expensive pieces making up extremely stylish outfits. I carry the printouts with me everywhere so I can find pieces to the outfits at places like Target, Old Navy and TJ Maxx. Here are a couple of my outfits that I've chosen to redo

Loving the argyle.

fall (I already got the scarf)

Fall outfit. I love these Toms

Fall

My biggest trends that I've noticed for the fall this year are riding boots and denim/chambray shirts. Also a lot of scarves and hopefully leggings and skinny jeans because I've got a lot and I'm not getting rid of them. Oh and colored jeans which I love, I want a pair of red ones but I think I'm way too big to wear them still so maybe they'll still be in style in spring.

And finally fall makeup. I've never been one to change my makeup colors between seasons. I usually just wear pretty neutral colors year round. I possibly may add eyeliner in the fall and winter but other then that not much changes. Now this has nothing to do with it being fall but I did just get some new makeup/foundation. Its Cliniques new mineral makeup line.
Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Pressed Powder
I've been very loyal to Dior's Air Flash for foundation but I've so much about mineral makeup so I wanted to give it a try. And since I used to use the hell out of some Clinique I checked with them first. Sure enough they had some (even here in Aiken) and it even has 15spf in it. I actually really love it, a lot. It goes on quick and easy and the coverage is awesome without looking too thick or makeup-y. Also for some reason it makes my skin fell really soft and evens out all the imperfections that keep showing up as I age.

So thats all I got. I do plan on taking and posting pictures this afternoon because Ty has such a cute new outfit on today and it must be shared with someone besides Aiken, SC Mom's Club.
